Please see ALL of the photos, this is the exact display piece you will receive.  We are not positive of the material, the piece is heavy and could be cast metal or brass.  A different eBay seller has this exact piece listed, they claim it is bronze (we don't believe that to be accurate)
In our opinion, the piece is in very good condition, showing some surface wear consistent with age and use.  If you zoom in on pic #8 and #9 above, it looks like a few sections of the side piece have been repaired (glued back on)
The base measures 3 3/4" x 9 1/2", the train stand 6 1/2" tall at its highest point.
