Up for auction is a fascinating artifact from Chicagoland railroad history! This is an original model board from the interlocking between the Milwaukee Road and Indiana Harbor Belt railroads at Franklin Park, Illinois. This board and its corresponding manipulation chart were used by the operator to guide trains through the interlocking. Board is in original condition, as removed service - complete with grime, wear, and patina. Some indicator lights are missing or broken. Board weighs in at over 55 lbs and the face of the steel frame measures 41” x 14” (and 7” deep). Please take a look a photos to get a better idea of condition.
