Liburdi Dimetrics PTW150 Orbital Tube And Pipe Welder. Condition is Used.
Liburdi Dimetrics open arc orbital tube and pipe welding system. System includes powersource, open arc weldhead, remote pendant and ground clamp.
This open arc weldhead is designed for autogenous tig welding for tube and pipe  from 1" to 4" ( up to 4.5" actual diameter) . The PTW150 powersource can provide up to 150 amps peak with 120v input power. This will allow for the single pass welding of up to SCH10 stainless pipe.
Open arc weldheads do provide several beneficial advantages compared to closed design weldheads:
-No requirements for preground electrodes
-No requirements for costly collets.
-Weld Pipe, inch tube and metric tube sizes without additional parts
-Single sided clamping for zero tangent elbows and fittings.
-Clutch disengaging arc plate for quick set up.
- Arc strike from any position around the pipe. Not limited to home position arc strike.
- tig torch uses standard 20 series consumable and hoses. No tiny electrode set screws to loose or drop.
-Higher duty cycle than closed design heads means more welds per hour.
-Manual arc gap adjustment possible during welds.
-Manual cross seam adjustment possible during welds.
-Quickly clamp to pipe without worry about electrode alignment.
-Open arc weldheads allow for live monitoring of weld.
This PTW150 is in excellent condition. It was just calibrated for current and travel. New memory was installed and includes programs for stainless tube and pipe.
This package has been weld tested and is ready to be put to work!
