    Description

Antique Telegraph Key and Receiver Collection
Here are five telegraph components I picked up over the years because I was a Thomas Edison fan. Now, I'm de-collecting. None of these are tested.
    1. Lionel J-38 Telegraph Key.
Spring action works. There's white paint around the base as if the board it was mounted on was painted without moving the key. There's a lever arm that's missing.
    2. Signal Electric Mfg. Co. Receiver.
Seems all in order. The spring action works. There's also a little paint on the base of this one.
    3. Central Scientific/Signal Electric Receiver.
Spring action works. A plate on it says "Central Scientific Co.", the crossbar has "Signal Electric Mfg. Co." stamped on it and "4-OHMS" is stamped into the wood.
    4. 98A5 Receiver.
The only identification on this one is a brass plaque that says, "98A5." Seems to have all the parts, except one terminal.
    5. Unknown Telegraph Key Part.
No manufacturer identification. The main key lever is missing. But that other lever is on it.
